Hello everyone, sgt392 here, yesterday I drove 3 hours away to pick up this used 2014 Ford Flex for my wife. We traded in our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T for this Flex and I am very happy because the Flex is so much more fun and has more road presence than the Grand Caravan. We used to own a 2011 Ford Flex and this one is very similar but has even more goodies. I’ll show the original sticker for this Flex at the end of the video but, again, this one is a 2014 Limited with the 3.5 Ecoboost engine, which our 11 had as well. The options on this include adaptive cruise, heated/cooled seats, vista roof, roof rails, tow package, dvd headrest players, 2nd row captain chairs with the passthrough, which my wife wanted, and other goodies. This one does not have the appearance package which on this black one would’ve added the partially black painted wheels and two-tone seats, but my wife didn’t like the two-tone seats and she likes how the silver wheels accent the trim, door handles, and roof rails. Now this Flex is used but it’s in really good condition, the dealership detailed everything, including the engine bay and when I got it home I cleaned a couple spots on the headliner and used some scratch remover to mask some of the scratches in the clear coat. So as good as the van was for the family, the Flex now give me the best compromise of driving fun for me and family friendliness for the wife. I tried to talk her into a Durango R/T or Explorer Sport but she wasn’t a fan and the clear answer ended up being something we already had a few years ago and were sad to get rid of back then but now we have another one and hopefully it holds up for some years to come.
