Today we’re going to briefly look at my wife’s car and the family hauler, our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T which we purchased/financed. This van is still around today, however it’s called the GT now and not the R/T which I think is more appropriate. You hear rumblings from Dodge/Chrysler about killing off the Grand Caravan eventually but it keeps on surviving year after year even with the new Pacifica out.

Anyways, the exterior paint is called bright white and the R/T package gives you the black wheels, tinted headlights, body colored grill, a performance suspension, and the red stitched black leather interior including second row bucket seats along with some other minor things.

Options on our van include the:
Driver Confidence Group (heated 1st and 2nd row seats, heated steering wheel, window shades, some other bits)
Single DVD Entertainment system
430N Radio with Nav

What I like about the van:
1. Spacious, great for our family of 5 (3 kids)
2. Storage for traveling or hauling things
3. Comfortable
4. Handles well (sport suspension)
5. Wife and kids like it
6. Good value for around 30k

What I don’t like about the van:
1. It’s not fun to drive (slow, not sporty), I don’t look forward to it
2. Don’t get respect on the road
3. The sound/engine noise (rather loud)
4. Tires aren’t grippy, designed for fuel economy
5. Not all-wheel drive
