Update DODGE Caravan & Dodge Caravan Conversion – DIY Campervan Floor! Sprinter Van Conversion Series in Mammoth 25132 WV.

Today’s campervan conversion instalment shows you how we went about installing our DIY floor!

We chose to use a 9mm hardwood ply for the base of the floor system, which we put down in four separate parts. The ply was then fitted to the base of the van with screws into the wooden battens spanning the length of the sub floor, ensuring the ply was secured.

Atop the ply is a linoleum sheet fixed down with adhesive to protect the wooden floor from moisture and wear.

Most of this floor will actually be covered by furniture, however the floor space we will have visible in the van will be covered by a bespoke wooden flooring we are making ourselves in another video.
