In this video we show how to clean your engine bay of your vehicle. It can be a car or a truck, really the procedure is the same. The two main components you want to cover are your air filter and your alternator. Also if your vehicle is older try to cover the distributor and avoid spraying directly at the wires where they meet the spark plugs.
You will need a few plastic bags and some degreaser as well as a brush if your engine bay is heavily soiled with oil grease and grime. Please make sure you wash your engine in a place that you are permitted to do so. Many car washes do not allow engine washing so you may have to do this at home or find a place that you are allowed to do so.
I would recommend using diluted Castrol SuperClean or Simple Green instead of Purple Power.
Try to do this on a cold engine and also remember to remove the bags before starting the engine. There may be some squealing of the belt when you first start the engine but will stop once the belt dries after a minute or so.
