When you’re ready to fill up, save a little time by looking at the gas pump icon on your instrument cluster. You’ll notice a small arrow that indicates the location of the fuel filler door. To add fuel, park and turn the ignition off. To unlock the fuel filler door, push the release switch, located under the headlight switch. If needed, there is also an emergency release located in the rear storage area.
Once you’ve refueled, remove the nozzle. To close the fuel filler door, simply push and release. The door will automatically relock when it is closed.
In snowy conditions, ice could prevent the door from opening.
If this happens, lightly push the outer edge of the door to break up and clear away any icy build up.
