In this video I talk about the issues with installing a lower temperature thermostat in your Dodge RAM 1500 with the active grille shutters. They are computer controlled and if they see your engine temperature going too low they will close to try to bring the temps back up to 203*

Diablosport does not allow you to program the shutters. It would be nice if you could keep the shutters and program them to let the truck run cooler but they close if you try to run the truck at a cooler operating temperature.

If you remove the shutters you lose 1-2 MPG.
