This is a Disc-O-Bed modification I made to fit width wise into a low roof 2014 Ram Promaster 1500. I welded up a frame using 1″x 1″ square tubing from The Home Depot that allows you to mount the bunk beds over your wheel well. The top bunk’s height is still low enough to climb into into it, with plenty of room to spare above it for tossing and turning. The Bunks I bought are called Arm-O-Bunks, they are the more heavy duty military versions of the Disc-O-Bed, I bought them from a military surplus seller on eBay a couple of years back for under $200 shipped. The total length of MY bunks are 72 1/4 inches, but you can squeeze a little more length out of depending on how you configured your interior. Cut, mount and modify Disc-O-Beds at your own risk.
