CUMMINS STEERING NEEDS ALIGNMENT BAD! I got the tie rods, and center link all installed on the 24 valve Cummins. I ran into a couple little problems but still got the job completed and now the 24 valve needs an alignment badly! The steering on the truck is much tighter with the new tie rods installed and center link. I didnt realize the old tie rods were that loose until getting all the new steering linkage installed and feeling the difference in the response of the steering wheel. This tie rod/center drag link install took a couple hours of my time and saved me almost $400 from having a shop do the work. I will do a video on the couple issues I had installing the tie rods on the Cummins and my thoughts on how the truck drives on our long trip to work. Alignment needs to happen a.s.a.p. and i’ll be getting a new steering stabilizer to install as well. I hope you enjoy this brief how to/install video. See ya in the next video!
