Greg is back at it again, in the shop with another great modification that you can get bolted up to your truck. In this video its all about APG’s new IArmor Black Rocker steps. So, sit back and relax, because these new IArmor rockers may just be the perfect addition to your truck.
Now if you’re a truck or SUV driver, you probably are already aware of the fact that installing a set of rocker bars, side steps, or running boards is practically the first modification that anyone makes to their truck. The fact of the matter is, trucks and SUV’s have a high center of gravity and ground clearance, so having a set of side steps bolted up makes getting in and out a lot easier on yourself and your passengers.
If your familiar with APG, you may be surprised to see their name attached to a rocker step. APG has made their presence known in the aftermarket by building attractive, and quality custom grilles. So once Greg found out that they were now making rocker steps, he just had to check them out.
Well for a first attempt APG started off strong. They manufacture the IArmor using an all-aluminum frame, keeping it lightweight but also strong. And within that frame they chose to design very wide step pads with a slotted platform for ample traction in hazardous weather conditions.
