Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we’re going to be doing a test fit of the Yacuma Rocketbox Pro 14. This cargo box is going to have 14 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice black finish. The other thing is you’re also going to have your feet connected. The one thing you’re going need to do is just make sure you have the feet open and ready to receive your crossbars once you put it up on top of your vehicle. This is going to be part number Y07192. Go and place it up on top of the vehicle in front of your crossbars. With it in place, slide it back and onto your crossbar system.

From there, we go ahead and make sure it’s centered since this box does have the option of opening from both sides. Go and get up top, turn the key to the unlock position, press the red button and lift open the lid, making sure that the black turn knobs are tight since those are for our feet to turn back and forth. Once you have those tight, try and start turning down the red turn knobs. That will close up the clamps around your crossbars. And since this box will fit any of your crossbars that you intend to put it on whether that be your elliptical bars, square bars, round bars, aero-type bars, even your factory roof 00:01:17 bars like you see here today. With those nice and tight let’s go and close it up and then we’ll move over to the other side. Make sure you hear the click in the latches, take the key, head over to the other side.

Once you’re over on this side, go and plug in the key, turn it to the unlock position. Once again, press the red button and open it up. Get up top and tighten up those two turn knobs the same as you did before, ensuring that they close up around your crossbar system. The other nice thing is they are going to have nice tie-down points as well so you can secure you cargo once you have it inside you cargo box, making sure that it doesn’t bounce around, especially if you decide to go off-roading or anywhere with a rough terrain. Once you have those nice and tight, go and close it up, make sure it latches and turn it to lock position, making sure you take your key. We’ll move to the back of the vehicle and see what kind of clearance we have with our rear hatch. As you can see, you’re going to have plenty of space and room between your top of the hatch and the back side of the box so you won’t need to worry about opening that up and getting in the back of your vehicle.
