Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Dodge Durango, we’re going to be doing a test fit on the K Source universal dual lens towing mirrors, part number KS3990.This is the normal view you’re going to have when you just have your factory side mirror. When you install this universal clip-on towing mirror, you’re going to see the additional vision you get when I take a couple steps away from the trailer. This is going to make it very easy for you to change lanes, pass, park, and even back up. When I take steps back towards the trailer, you’re going to see you have no blind spot.This universal clip-on towing mirror is going to be very useful for if you only have a factory side mirror. It’s going to provide you with better vision of your load while you’re traveling down the road. You can adjust in virtually any direction.

We have side to side, diagonal, and up and down. Our bigger mirror is going to give us a view of what’s behind us, while our smaller mirror is going to be our spot mirror.It has two ratchet straps that secure it to the factory side mirror. It even has these two nice rubber pads that not only protect the factory side mirror’s paint finish but it’s also going to give it a nice snug fit. The arms are adjustable, so if you have any other vehicles that you tow with, you’ll be able to adjust the mirror to fit those vehicles. It’s made out of a durable plastic, and it has a nice matte black finish.

It’s going to hold up very well in those tough weather conditions. Even with our towing mirror installed, we can still fold it toward our vehicle.When you’re done towing, they’re also very easy to remove. All you got to do is flip up your cap and press down on that black button. The strap loosens, and then you can take it off. These mirrors come in a set of two, so your driver and passenger side mirrors are going to be covered.Now, that we’ve gone over some of those features, let’s install them together.

Before you set your mirror in place on your factory mirror, you want to make sure you have your tabs pulled out like that. Then, you can begin to place it between the housing of the mirror and the actual mirror. It slides right into there. Once you have it in place, we’re ready to install our straps.When installing your straps, you do want to make sure that the contour of your rubber pad matches the contour of the housing for the factory mirror. It’s going to be like this.

We’ll put that on. First, put this plastic hook up top. Once you have it hooked on both the top and bottom, you can begin tightening it down with your ratchet. You don’t want it too tight at first. We’re just going to get it snug until we get our other strap on. The other strap installs the same way. Once you’ve done the other strap, you can begin tightening down your other strap the rest of the way. When you’re done, and it’s snug, you’re ready to go. When you finish installing your driver side, just repeat the same process for the passenger side. That’s going to do it for our look at the K Source universal towing mirrors on our 2018 Dodge Durango.
