Dodge Durango gets performance Mopar options for R/T, SRT. Fiat Chrysler is showing new performance add-ons for the 2018 Dodge Durango R/T and SRT models at the Chicago Auto Show, including the familiar Dodge dual center stripes and a new Mopar exhaust system. The 475-horsepower SRT model, which is powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, will also offer a lowering spring kit and a carbon-fiber instrument panel. The signature two-stripe treatment blankets the three-row SUV from the front to rear fascia and is tailored to the signature NACA duct-hood vent. It’ll come in five different colors — bright blue, flame red, gunmetal low gloss (metallic finish), low-gloss black and sterling silver — and retail for $1,195 starting in March.

Mopar developed its new bolt-on performance exhaust systems with Dodge SRT engineers and designers to improve flow and achieve that sweet sound. It features a chromium 304 stainless steel construction to make it more resistant to corrosion, with stainless steel band-style clamps and welded and polished 4-inch tips. It costs $1,595 for the Durango R/T and is available now. On the SRT, the price goes up to $1,850, with the package available in the second quarter.

As we found when we added one to our long-lasting fleet, the Dodge Durango GT is a spacious, versatile SUV that’s also sportier compared to you might anticipate. That said, with a 295-hp V-6 under the hood, it’s no place near as effective as the Durango SRT 392. But with the brand-new Rallye Appearance Bundle, you could at least offer the Durango GT an SRT-inspired appearance.

Declared today, the Rallye Appearance Bundle offers a much more hostile front end, a sportier hood, and LED foglamps. It might not be essential, but Dodge states the hood scoop and vents are in fact practical. If you tow a whole lot, it possibly can’t injure.

” Much of our customers like the performance appearance of the Durango R/T and Durango SRT, but are happy with the prize-winning Pentastar V-6 engine’s 295 horse power and the superb fuel efficiency it provides,” said Steve Beahm, FCA’s North American head of auto, in a release. “This brand-new Durango GT Rallye Appearance Bundle gives those three-row SUV customers the best of both globes.”

The Rallye bundle is readily available to get now for $1,495 and can be found in seven different colors. Thinking About the Durango GT begins at $38,990 including location, that brings the base cost of a Rallye-equipped Durango to $40,485.
