The brand-new Magnum is a great looking cars and truck that will get your next-door neighbors talking as you rumble around the block. The distinct styling of the Magnum will also bring in gawkers in the form of 18-22 year old men pointing for their buddies to “examine that out”. And a few people will approach you as you are filling the gas tank to ask, “Does it really have a Hemi?”, with just an unclear notion that it somehow makes the cars and truck better. The Magnum is used with various engine sizes (either a 6-cylinder or 8-cylinder) with your option of horse power output of 190, 250, 340 and 425. The rate of the vehicle also corresponds with the engine size starting at $30,345 to the costly STR-8 design for $37,320. A big part of the mystique around this cars and truck is the Hemi engine. The Hemi is brief for hemispherical combustion chamber, which creates more efficient fuel burning and allows larger valves for better airflow. Essentially, it produces more power than an engine with its displacement would generally produce. (There are also disadvantages to the Hemi, which is why it isn’t really the only engine that Chrysler produces). The interior of the cars and truck looks far more costly than you ‘d expect for the rate of the Magnum. Considering that Mercedes purchased Chrysler, the Dodge lorries I’ve sampled have had a sharp enhancement in interior quality. While on the roadway, the cars and truck is very strong and the seats are comfortable even on long highway runs. As much as I like the appearances, after owning it a while I really need to question the style idea that the Magnum deals. It is a station wagon built to transport a great deal of people and a great deal of things. But mating this with a powerful engine with the taught racing-like suspension is uncomfortable for both. It resembles having a Corvette tow a small trailer, and you remain in the trailer and the Corvette chauffeur is 15 years-old, pressing the cars and truck to its limits. (Only a real Corvette has a far more comfortable suspension than the Magnum). Even owning on smooth roadways, the steering is very darty and hard to manage. And with a large cars and truck, all that weaving and roadway feedback is overemphasized for the travelers and whatever you’ve kept in the back. I like having a navigation system, however figuring out how to use it with the guiding wheel controls made me regularly describe the user’s manual. In spite of the high horse power and low-end torque I played with when starting from a complete stop, the RT design I owned balanced 20 MPG on the higway. What I presume to be the target audience for this cars and truck, those 18-22 year-old men that I mentioned, will probably like this cars and truck. And as much as I like owning sports automobiles, the darty steering and sharp suspension make it too uncomfortable without any magnificent reward. The 0-60 sprint is enjoyable for a little while, however I ‘d hand down buying a Magnum as a daily owning vehicle.
