Dodge Caliber Vacuum Line Hello all ROb here with another video about a 2005 ford focus 2.0 apparently the 2.0 and the 2.3 engine have the same part. The 2005 ford focus gets a p225 trouble code. Intake manifold runner control valve. This is a easy fix. the intake manifold runner control valve was $149 at O’Reillys. It is right on the front part of the engine. This P2008 cold is saying your cars computer cannot open or close the intake manifold runner control valve. There are two 8mm bolts to unbolt the intake manifold runner control valves. There are true vacuum hoses connected to the valve along with one electrical wire. Before your place for intake manifold runner control valve. Checked to make sure there are no cracks in the vacuum lines. on the 2005 four focus there were four little butterflies put inside the intake manifold in order to save gas at low idle. These of elves tend to go bad and make a knocking noise. The P2008 code is that the runner control valves is not working. Even though you replace it you may still get some knocking sound from the engine and at that point you may have to replace your intake manifold.
