Dodge Viper Vs Hellcat Bristol Dragway, Bristol, Tennessee 2018

On the right lane we have the Charger SRT Hellcat, came out in 2015!, faster than it’s big brother the Challenger Hellcat, with a 6.2 litre Hemi V8 placed in the front that produces 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, RWD system, 7-speed automatic transmission, and a weight of 2,075 kg. So how will it go out against the iconic legendary car that will never be forgotten (was out of production in early 2017) the 2013 SRT Viper GTS, with a 8.4 litre Viper V10 placed in the front that outputs 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque , with a RWD system, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a weight of 1,496 kg.

Now with both specs given, it appears that the Viper weighs roughly less than the Charger Hellcat (580 kg difference) but the Hellcat has 67 more horses and 50 more torque than the Viper. And also the gear box advantage. But who will pull on the other?! Will the Viper out accelerate the Hellcat? Or will the Hellcat outpower the Viper? Lets find out!
