Dodge Viper Brakes My clutch fluid was low and black. I replaced it by sucking the old fluid out with a baby medicine drip less suction device. Costed a dollar. I used mopar dot 4 brake/clutch fluid. When I took old fluid out and poured new fluid in I pressed the clutch 30-40 times and then took out the fluid and put new fluid in. I drove the car for about two days 50 miles and then did the same thing again. Clutch fluid is clear now. Dealership wanted $198 to do this. They would of done it easier by bleeding the system though. If you want to do it yourself, do it. Simple.
Remember recycle your old brake fluid and only use new sealed brake fluid. If you make a mess clean it ASAP. I recommend cover your car with something to prevent brake fluid touching your paint.
