👋 In todays comparison we are looking at the 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody VS the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody! We’ve had tons of comments asking which model should you buy so it was a good time to compare these two mopar muscle cars! The Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger both have various trim levels depending on your budget and what you want out of your sedan or coupe. The two models in todays video are two of the most powerful production vehicles made with the 6.2L supercharged V8! These pump out over 700 horsepower which is crazy to see for a daily drivable vehicle! The Dodge Charger only weights about 100 pounds more than the Challenger so they are very comparable in weight and will have very similar handling characteristics! The Dodge Charger is a little more practical since you can open a door to access the rear seats and have a few more amenities like being heated and having charging ports compared to the Challenger not offering that! The exteriors are also much different, they do have similar characteristics, but each have their own distinctive looks and features! It’s nice that the Challenger and Charger are different vehicles, so the Charger is not a four door version, but that’s what we’ll call it for todays purposes!
The technology and performance information provided in the gauge cluster and infotainment system is very impressive for a daily driver! You can monitor so much important information in both the Charger and Challenger, for a factory vehicle, it’s definitely cool!
As far as back seat and cargo space, it’s pretty roomy in both, just easier to open a door, but regardless, still practical five seater vehicles. The cargo space is adequate as well and definitely usable vehicles if it’s your only one!
Deciding between the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger really just depends on if you want a two door or four door and if you want a manual or auto as the Challenger offers a manual option as well. Both are practical and fun, just depends on what you need and want!
