Update! I’ve recently been able to confirm that the 2018 Dodge Charger uses the same keyfob and battery. The steps to change that battery will be the same.
The battery in the keyfob for my 2015 Dodge Journey has been dying for a few weeks. Today I’m going to change that battery, and I decided to share how simple it is to do yourself.
All you’ll need is a CR2032 battery (by from Amazon here: )and a flat head screwdriver. Most people probably have a screwdriver laying around, and the batteries can be picked up for a few bucks. I’m not sure what other Dodge models and years use this same keyfob, but if this video helps you out with a different year or model please let us know in the comments.
